Utah’s LEHI (August 16, 2022) – The Inflation Reduction Act was signed today, according to a statement from Earthlenz, the industry pioneer in customised renewable energy (IRA). The act also includes other rebates and tax credits for installing energy-saving home equipment, such as heat pumps, electric HVAC, and electric water heaters, which will reduce energy bills for millions of Americans. The act reinstates a 30% tax credit for qualified consumers who install residential solar panels before the end of 2034. The IRA was approved by Congress on Friday and signed into law by President Joe Biden today. It has been hailed as one of the most important, thorough, complete, and serious climate bills.
